Considering what this boys’s been through, it’s just amazing that he is such a good natured soul. Phillip was neglected for most of his life. He came to us with mats so thick, he couldn’t move. He’s all shaved now, but will be handsome when his beautiful black coat grows back. Phillip is special needs right now, because he has some skin problems that we are treating. He is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is also extremely friendly to humans. Phillip has a great outlook on life despite the adversity he’s faced and looks forward to lying by your feet in a cozy home. Kona is a sweet, calm girl, who loves to be with her people. Oh so mellow, she is happy taking long, leisurely walks around the block, or just hanging around outside (maybe while you garden?). She loves meeting other dogs, especially the big ones, and has gotten along with every dog, child, and new person she's met in her foster neighborhood - she is great with the two cats in her foster home, too! Kona does well when left alone, but from the way she follows her foster mom around the house, she would rather be with you!
